With the nylon three strap set, the two shorter straps go from the front to the back and the long strap goes from side to side.

Take one of the straps. Find the little metal keeper (it keeps the strap from moving from side to side) run one end thru the keeper and then back thru the loop on the strap. Tighter it up. Keep going until all the straps are attached.

Simple and easy with no bolts or screws to mess with.
