The original Boss Frog Double Hoop Roll Bar has been slightly redesigned (see the arrow below) to accommodate maximum seat travel especially important with 1999-2005 model years. The Maxx bar is similar to the Boss Frog Double Hoop bar, but with the extra room. NOTE: If you have a Hard Top on your Miata, please order the Original Boss Frog, as the Maxx bar isn't fitting under the hard top properly.

	Constructed of high quality 1.75" x .120 DOM tubing per SCCA guidelines

Installation Information

	Must drill holes in several places.
	Sheet metal cutting - this design does not require any cutting into the chassis, unlike some other popular roll bars for the Miata. It only requires cutting the removable package tray and some carpet.

The plastic panels covering the seat belt towers must be trimmed.

	Tools Needed: Safety Glasses Metric wrenches and sockets; 10mm, 14mm US wrenches and sockets; 9/16", 5/8" Phillips Screwdriver 12" long drill bit (1/4", 5/16", or 3/8") Drill and 3/8" drill bit Tin snips or aviation shears Claw hammer or small crow bar Flat and round file Hacksaw or Dremel tool Floor Jack and jackstands (4) Utility Knife, Putty Knife
	Overall the bar is about as hard to install as any other popular roll bars available for the Miata, with the addition of drilling two holes into the floor on each side of the drive shaft tunnel.

Accessories -

We recommend that you get the vinyl covers when you are installing the SFI padding. The UV breaks down the padding unless it's protected from the sun.

Seat belt adapters are included with all BF MAXX roll bars.
