As an added bonus, it works with OEM rear glass windows and Robbins Top aftermarket glass rear windows for all years of Miata. 

And just like the Boss Frog Double Hoop roll bar,  to ensure that the bar would be up to withstanding a rollover, a destructive test of the roll bar was conducted. Following the specifications set forth by both the Sport Car Club of America (SCCA) and FIA guidelines during the test, three simultaneous loads, 7.5G vertical, 5.5G front, and 1.5G side, were applied with a combined load of over 13 tons. TheBoss Frog ClearView roll bar passed the destructive test with flying colors. The ClearView stayed completely intact, with nearly zero deflection. As required by SCCA regulations, a registered engineer witnessed the test, and has issued a report of his findings. In short he concluded that the Boss Frog ClearView Roll Bar  meets the specifications and intent of both SCCA and FIA specifications.

Installation Information

Must drill holes in several places.
Sheet metal cutting - this design does not require any cutting into the chassis, unlike some other popular roll bars for the Miata. It only requires cutting the removable package tray and some carpet.
The plastic panels covering the seat belt towers must be trimmed.   
Tools Needed:
   Safety Glasses
   Metric wrenches and sockets; 
     10mm, 14mm
   US wrenches and sockets; 9/16", 5/8"
   Phillips Screwdriver
   12" long drill bit (1/4", 5/16", or 3/8")
   Drill and 3/8" drill bit
   Tin snips or aviation shears
   Claw hammer or small crow bar
   Flat and round file
   Hacksaw or Dremel tool
   Floor Jack and jack stands (4)
   Utility Knife, Putty Knife 
Overall the bar is about as hard to install as any other popular roll bars available for the Miata.

Seatbelt Adapters

Have trouble with the seatbelt retracting? These bolt-in adapters help the seatbelts work better.  Replaces the stock seatbelt guides, which need to be cut off.  For use on all Boss Frog rollbars.  Click here for installation instructions.
